Operations & Team Training

Stop explaining the same process from scratch.

When every handoff depends on the owner, routine work becomes hard to repeat. Turn one recurring problem into clear steps your team can use.

Discuss an operating process

We help document the way work should happen, identify who owns each step and walk your team through realistic situations. Start with onboarding, estimate follow-up, customer issues or another process that keeps coming back to you.

Start with one recurring problem.

We look at how the work happens today before writing a procedure. That includes the people doing it, the tools they use, the decisions they make and the exceptions that cause confusion.

You do not need a finished manual. A description of where work gets stuck is enough to begin the conversation.

Put the document into use.

Your scope can include a process map, a checklist or step-by-step guide, clear responsibilities and a practical team walkthrough. We agree the format, number of processes, revisions and price before work begins.

Software configuration, ongoing management and additional training are separate unless included. Procedures involving legal, HR, accounting or safety requirements need the appropriate specialist review; this service does not replace it.

A process your team can use.

The goal is a usable guide for the people doing the job. We check the sequence, explain what to do when something goes wrong and name the person who can make the next decision. Your team remains responsible for using and maintaining the process.

What happens next

  1. Describe one recurring problem and the people involved.
  2. Agree on the workflow, deliverables, participation, review needs and price.
  3. Review the draft with the people who actually do the work.
  4. Walk through an example, revise the agreed material and assign an owner for future updates.

How we approach the work

Cornerstone was founded by Ted Lopez, whose operating experience includes hiring, training teams and resolving customer issues. Our process work uses that practical perspective: a document is useful only when the team can understand it and apply it.

Questions owners ask

Do I need to buy anything else first?

No. We can start with one workflow and the tools you use today. New software, a Health Check or a larger systems project is not a required first purchase.

What do you need from me?

A recurring problem, any existing instructions and access to the people who know the work. Choose someone who can approve the final process and own future updates. A general example is enough for the first inquiry.

Can you work with a small team?

Yes. The process and training scope are based on the people and responsibilities involved. We confirm participation and delivery format before you agree.

Do you provide training as well as documents?

A team walkthrough can be included. We define who attends, what is covered, the format and any follow-up sessions in your proposal.

Will you run the process for us afterward?

Not as part of a documentation engagement unless explicitly agreed. We identify a person in your business to own the process; ongoing help is scoped separately.

Will this cover legal, HR or safety compliance?

No. We can organize operational steps and identify where specialist review is needed. Qualified advisers must review requirements that apply to your business.

A useful next step

Clarify customer follow-up
Useful when the process that keeps breaking is an inquiry or estimate handoff.

Scope a connected system
Useful when the process also needs software changes or several tools to work together.
